The Cleveland Browns Offensive Players Battling To Make the 2026 Roster

Dillon Gabriel - All signs point to him being traded unless there is a quarterback injury on the team.

Michael Burton - I would say it is about a 40% chance they carry a fullback on the roster. When he was signed I thought the chance was hire but we have heard very little since then. The question of can one of the rookies do the job will be a factor.

Cedric Tillman - He is battling to prove he is worth $3.674m in 2026. This could be tough if he is relegated to fifth wide receiver on the team. He is better pushing for a trade than taking a pay cut to be a depth piece. The Browns shouldn't rush it as he provides injury insurance currently.

Malachi Corley - We need to see how Concepcion is used to get a better idea as they might use him for the gadget plays reducing Corley's value.

Gage Larvadain - There are other people ahead of him in the pecking order, he will need to prove he is the best returner on the team and show upside offensively.

Carsen Ryan - Despite being a draft pick he is battling to make the team as many seventh round tight ends don't week one.

Jack Stoll - He is the blocking tight end option and probably one of the five bubble options most likely to make the team as he has a proven skillset. The failure to get any guarantees is why he is in this group.

Blake Whiteheart - He is the most veteran in the room but it feels like they can do better in free agency and bring in a proven veteran to be tight end two if the rookies don't step up.

Brenden Bates - It feels like he is battling for a spot on the practice squad.

Zak Zinter - It feels like his time is done and he will reach free agency near the start of the season. Potentially a swap during preseason for another player unlikely to make a teams 53 so they can see what he has. Similar to the Patriots deal with Chase Winovich and Mack Wilson.

Jack Conley - I would have Leveston ahead of him currently, if they don't keep a fullback then he has a real shot which was something I didn't see at the start of the offseason.

Luke Wypler - He could really be helped by himself or Brailsford winning the job as it means that Elgton Jenkins transitions to guard and then opens a second center spot for both young players to make the team. There is certainly a world where they keep three guards and three centers but they need to see more over training camp and the preseason to increase his chances.
