Manchester City are set to break the Premier League record and complete a €150m deal for Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson.

€150m deal set to be completed
They report that the Nottingham Forest star is on course to become the Premier League’s record signing this summer.
According to SportBILD, Manchester City will pay around €150m for Elliot Anderson this summer. That will surpass Liverpool’s €145m deal for Alexander Isak last summer.
Nottingham Forest director George Syrianos has consistently insisted on the record fee. He knows that Anderson is not only a star in the Premier League, but also a key player for Thomas Tuchel and England at the World Cup.
That means he should command a huge fee. He has so far turned down a €140m offer for the 23-year-old. He will be rewarded for that courageousness with an extra €10m on top. Indeed, it is likely that this information comes from him, or at least his team.
Nottingham Forest celebrate
Syrianos and Nottingham Forest are perhaps celebrating a record deal. They paid Newcastle €41.2m for Elliot Anderson two summers ago as both sides looked to navigate around PSR.
The deal has proved to be a highly profitable one. Not only has Anderson become a key player under various managers, and progressed to the England first team, he is now set to bring in almost four times what he cost as well.
