Hull City 'interested' in goalkeeper who wants to leave Manchester United

Hull City are interested in Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek.

That’s according to the Daily Mail who reckon the Tigers are one of several Premier League clubs keen on the 22-year-old.

Fellow promoted sides Coventry City and Ipswich Town, who recently appointed Gary O’Neil as Kieran McKenna’s successor, are also named.

Vitek, who has two years left on his Old Trafford, spent last season on loan at Bristol City, where he impressed with 12 clean sheets in 41 appearances.

He has returned to United but reports all summer have been saying he doesn’t want to play a back-up role and wants regular first team football.

United are said to be open to a sale, or a loan if the Czech first agrees a new contract.

Reports are City want to sign two goalkeepers this summer and they have already been linked with Sporting Braga’s Lukas Hornicek and Bayern Munich’s Alexander Nubel.
