Jose Mourinho has made Enzo Fernandez his top midfield target at Real Madrid but Los Blancos are yet to directly contact Chelsea over a move.
Fernandez informed the Blues of his desire to depart Stamford Bridge last month after publicly expressing his frustrations with the club during the March international break. Chelsea sources insist the west Londoners will not stand in his way as long as their £120million valuation of the midfielder is met this summer.
At the time of writing, there has been no direct contact from Madrid in relation to the signing of Fernandez. However, with Mourinho now making the 25-year-old his top midfield target, that is expected to change in the near future.

Personal terms are not expected to be an issue with Fernandez long dreaming of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Fernandez signed for Chelsea in January 2023 for a British transfer record at the time of £106.8m.

The Blues have already sold Marc Cucurella to Los Blancos this summer, with the Spain international completing a return to Spain in a £51.7m move.
Elsewhere, Malo Gusto is considering his options with interest from Manchester City, while Trevoh Chalobah is a target for Como amongst others. Liam Delap has interest from elsewhere in the Premier League but sources close to the striker insist he wants to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.
