Liverpool center back Rhys Williams trains with Metro
June 24, 2026
As first reported by South Ward Central, Liverpool center back Rhys Williams has been spotted training with RBNY. The 25-year-old is out of contract this summer.
Williams joined the Liverpool academy at the age of nine in 2011, but has failed to entrench himself with the club. His lone first-team action came in 2020-21, with nine games, seven of them starts. Since then, he's played on loan with Swansea City and Blackpool in The Championship, and spent last season with Morecambe in League Two, England's fourth division. He has a number of youth caps for England.
If this is an example of Jurgen Klopp's magic, let's properly define "magic"...
