Full cost of Anthony Gordon transfer confirmed as three clauses in Barcelona transfer revealed

The Catalans have paid an initial €70 million with another €10m due in add-ons due to specific clauses that have been inserted into his contract, per The Mirror.

Barcelona will pay out another €5m to Newcastle if Gordon wins a trophy during his time at Camp Nou. Hansi Flick’s side have won La Liga for the last two season and will be aiming to make it three in a row in 2026-27.

Newcastle will also receive an extra €1m every season that Gordon plays at least 60% of Barcelona’s matches. That’s a figure that Gordon will be hoping to hit after signing a five-year deal with the club.

And if Barcelona opt to sell on Gordon in the future, Newcastle could also receive another fee. The Magpies inserted a sell-on clause a part of the transfer and will receive a percentage of the fee. The precise amount has not been revealed but is believed to relate to the profit of any sale.
