Leicester City want at least £10million for young star Jeremy Monga, football.london understands. The Gunners have made an offer of £5m for the Foxes winger, per reports.
It is understood that Arsenal hope to find a compromise in their quest to sign the 16-year-old starlet, given the player's contract situation and desire to move to north London. The club hope to avoid a tribunal deciding a fee for Monga's services.
Monga is the Premier League's third-youngest player after making his debut aged 15 in April 2025. Only Arsenal stars Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri have featured in the division at a younger age.
Arsenal appear to be the starlet's most likely destination despite attracting interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea. The Gunners have not been deterred, despite seeing a bid rejected and discussions are ongoing.
Leicester were able to see off interest from interested clubs last summer despite their relegation to the Championship as Monga signed an academy scholarship when he turned 16. With Monga turning 17 next month, that deal could turn professional but relegation to League One could spark a suitable moment for the teenager to make his exit.

The youngster made 30 appearances in all competitions during last season and became the Championship’s youngest-ever goalscorer when he scored against Preston North End in August.
