Xabi Alonso is reportedly closing in on his second signing as Chelsea head coach after giving the green light to a move for Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, according to the latest transfer reports.
CHELSEA are said to have identified the French centre-back as one of their priority defensive targets ahead of the new season, with Alonso keen to strengthen his back line following his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
