Bruno Guimaraes is in the North Londoners' sights, and Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the club made an approach to sign the Brazilian. Newcastle United rebuffed their £55million proposal, and the player is leaving everything in the Tyneside outfit's hands.

Early reports have suggested that Arsenal intend to return with a second offer for Guimaraes, who has two years left on his contract. The club might be planning for the arrival of a new midfielder regardless of the outcome of their pursuit of the Newcastle star.
The Gunners are reportedly willing to offload Norgaard, and he is deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium. Despite only arriving from Brentford last summer in a £10million deal, the 32-year-old could be headed for the exit door.
Norgaard made just 20 appearances across all competitions last season and started just one league game. If he does depart, he could remain in the Premier League as Bournemouth and Palace are monitoring his situation closely.

Norgaard isn't the only member of Arteta's squad who could be offloaded this summer. Gabriel Jesus' days at the Emirates look numbered, and the club are believed to have slashed their asking price for the Brazilian striker.
