The Foo Fighters' Take Cover tour is preparing for a second night at Anfield Stadium. The American rock band will play the final of their highly anticipated shows at the home of Liverpool FC on Saturday, June 27, bringing an end to the UK tour.

Foo Fighters were supported in Liverpool by Otoboke Beaver and Inhaler, before Grohl and his band emerged on stage around 7.30pm on Thursday. As the sun set over L4, the boiling conditions had thankfully relented slightly and fans savoured another concert to remember at the home of Liverpool.

If you're expecting to see the biggest rock anthems, then you won't be disappointed. The band performed huge hits such as 'Best of You', 'Learn To Fly' and 'My Hero'.

The stadium confirmed Thursday's stage times ahead of the show. There is little reason to believe they will change for Saturday's gig on June 27, but we will update this article accordingly if that changes.

Speaking on Absolute Radio's Dave Berry Breakfast on Monday, February 23, frontman Dave discussed his friendship with the Paul McCartney, as well as the band's upcoming UK shows.

Presenter Dave Berry asked whether Dave was looking forward to going back to Anfield and if Paul McCartney would "return the favour" and join the band on stage.

Dave said: "When I first found out we were doing that gig I let him know and he was like, 'oh you're going to have a blast, it'll be amazing'.

"Yeah, Liverpool's awesome, that place is great! I was actually surprised we're only doing two shows in the UK on that trip. I think that we should do more."
