**[Everton](https://sportwitness.co.uk/everton/) are among the clubs who have requested updated information on Marseille forward Timothy Weah.**
[Journalist Rudy Galetti reports](https://x.com/RudyGaletti/status/2070515767657836867) that Everton are one of the clubs who have asked about the 26-year-old’s current status.
**Everton ask question**
------------------------
According to the journalist, Marseille are not keen on a sale at this point. They consider the US international as an important part of their project. However, a significant offer would be seriously considered by the French club.
He does not make mention of what they would consider a ‘significant offer’. Transfermarkt currently rate the winger at €20m.
He joined Marseille on loan from Juventus last summer, with the French side paying €1m to secure him for the season. That deal is set to be made permanent at the end of this month for for the season. That deal is set to be made permanent at the end of this month for €14.4m.
**Varied career in Europe**
---------------------------
The American was a regular for the French side this season. He manager three goals and four assists in 41 games in all competitions. In Ligue 1, he managed two goals and two assists in 29 games and played in 74% of the available minutes in total.
A product of PSG’s youth set up, he’s also played for Celtic, Lille and Juventus previously in his career. He managed eight goals and eight assists in 107 games for Lille, seven and seven in 78 for Juventus and four goals and one assist in 17 games at Celtic.
Galetti makes no mention of whether he would be keen on a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer should it be offered. For now, it seems Everton have only made enquiries among other, unnamed suitors.
Marseille would, presumably, want a big profit on the €14.4m that they are set to pay this summer. Their asking price is currently unknown, but something it seems Everton will be trying to find out.
