York City have added a defender with experience of domestic football in three countries plus the Europa League.
Zech Medley joins on a free transfer next week having already built an impressive CV at the age of 25.
A central defender of left-back, he spent time in the academies at Chelsea and Arsenal as a child.
Medley captained Arsenal's under-18s and made two Europa League substitute appearances for them in late 2018, playing around half an hour each time. He was also an FA Cup substitute for them later in the campaign.

The Gunners loaned him to League One Gillingham and Scottish Premiership Kilmarnock.
He cut the apron strings in 2021, moving to Oostende for an undisclosed fee and spending three years in Belgium before returning home with Fleetwood.
Medley ruptured his Achilles tendon in August 2024, and had to undergo surgery. He returned in March of last year but spent the second half of last season on loan at League Two champions Bromley, making seven starts and two substitute appearances, all in the centre of defence.
Meanwhile, academy graduates Ben Farrar and Ethan Stiver have signed their first professional contracts with the Minstermen.
