Former Aston Villa midfielder Robert Snodgrass believes the odds are stacked against Arsenal signing Morgan Rogers this summer unless it is for "ridiculous money".

Speculation continues to surround Rogers and his future at Villa Park with Arsenal said to be keen on taking him to the Emirates this summer.

The England attacker, who is currently on World Cup duty, is ranked in the £100m bracket after another stellar season in the Premier League and he also starred in their Europa League success.

While Villa do need to move things around in terms of their finances, the prospect of selling Rogers with the club back in the Champions League does not seem feasible.

And Snodgrass does not feel Rogers will be on his way to the capital unless the offer is too good to refuse.

"Morgan Rogers to Arsenal? I don't see that happening," he told [talkSPORT BET Sportsbook.](http:// https://www.talksportbet.com/)

"I feel as if Aston Villa have taken it to the next level. They want to be challenging for the top four.

"They have one of the best managers in the world and a great squad. They will try to add players to that group rather

"It is one where Arsenal might have a shot if the money is absolutely ridiculous, but I can’t see him going. He is an exceptional talent."
