Arseblog News understands that attackers Selina Cerci and Lisa Baum are close to finalising moves to Arsenal Women ahead of the 2026-27 season. Cerci is a 26-year-old forward who plays for Hoffenheim and whose contract is expiring.
Lisa Baum is a highly rated 19-year-old winger from RB Leipzig who is contracted until 2028, meaning that the Gunners will pay a fee. With Beth Mead having left the club this summer, Arsenal need to reinforce their attack. Cerci has scored 16 Frauen Bundesliga goals in each of her two seasons at Hoffenheim. The player has made no secret of the fact that she is an Arsenal fan.
Baum is a left-footed right winger (who has also operated as a left wing-back, though she is far more likely to operate as a winger), she had six goals and two assists for Leipzig last season and was also wanted by Barcelona. Signing Baum is also part of bringing the age profile of the attack down.
Baum and Cerci offer Arsenal’s attack greater versatility and flexibility. Our understanding is that both deals are progressing well and likely to be completed soon.

Apologies it took a day or so to get this story up having posted about the move on Twitter and Bluesky. I was away for the weekend celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday so didn’t have the time to write the story up until now!
