Jarrod Bowen has been backed to remain at West Ham United amid reports linking him to Everton.

The forward won the Europa Conference League under David Moyes, who took him into the Premier League while Hammers boss, and so links over a reunion were inevitable once his former side’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed.

Whether West Ham will be willing to part with him - and whether the 29-year-old would be willing to leave - remains to be seen. For former Premier League winger Robert Snodgrass, Bowen should stay where he is.

Snodgrass, who played for West Ham and Aston Villa - one of the sides interested in Bowen - told talkSPORT BET Sportsbook: “Jarrod Bowen to Aston Villa or Everton? I think he did really well last season despite where West Ham finished.

“He has been the main man and his numbers have been really good for the last three years.

“If I'm Jarrod, I'm staying at West Ham. He is the captain and he is loved there. Signing a longer-term deal would show massive loyalty and togetherness.

"If they keep him and make the right signings, it shows a massive intent to go straight back up.”
