All Liverpool players’ World Cup last-32 fixtures: Dates, Times & TV info

Each of Liverpool’s eight World Cup participants progressed to the knockout stages, so we have rounded up who they’re playing, when they’re playing and how to watch.

All eight of Liverpool’s players involved in the World Cup group stages progressed to the last 32 of the competition.

After Canada and ex-Red Liam Millar knocked South Africa out in the first knockout clash of the tournament on Sunday evening, three current Liverpool players are in action on Monday night.

Here is all the information on all eight of Liverpool’s players involved in the round of 32

.

Brazil – Alisson

Brazil vs. Japan

Round of 32 • Houston StadiumJune 29 • 6pm

ITV 1

*BST

Having topped Group C on goal difference above Morocco, Brazil face a tricky test in the last 32 against Japan.

Alisson will start between the posts, knowing that a win would see them through to face the Ivory Coast or Norway in the last 16.

Group C results:

• Brazil 1-1 Morocco

• Brazil 3-0 Haiti

• Brazil 3-0 Scotland

Germany – Florian Wirtz

Germany vs. Paraguay

Round of 32 • Boston StadiumJune 29 • 9.30pm

BBC 1

*BST

Florian Wirtz had a poor game as Germany lost their final group match 2-1 against Ecuador. However, their top spot in the group had already been secured and little was riding on the game.

We expect Julian Nagelsmann’s side to be back at it as they face Paraguay in Boston.

Should Germany get through, they will face France or Sweden in the last 16.

Group E results:

• Germany 7-1 Curacao

• Germany 2-1 Ivory Coast

• Ecuador 2-1 Germany

Netherlands – Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, Cody Gakpo

Netherlands vs. Morocco

Round of 32 • Monterrey StadiumJune 30 • 2am

ITV 1

*BST

Liverpool’s Dutch contingent have among the toughest opponents of the round as they face 2022 semi-finalists Morocco.

Despite his partner having suffered a miscarriage, Cody Gakpo has put himself in contention to start alongside Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch.

If they get past Morocco, Canada in Houston will be their last-16 opponents.

Group F results:

• Netherlands 2-2 Japan

• Netherlands 5-1 Sweden

• Netherlands 3-1 Tunisia

Sweden – Alexander Isak

France vs. Sweden

Round of 32 • New York/New Jersey StadiumJune 30 • 10pm

ITV 1

*BST

Sweden finished third in their group with four points and, as a result, face possible overall winners France.

A win for Graham Potter’s side would be a serious surprise, but they do have the strike force to score on the break.

The winner of France vs. Sweden will face Germany or Paraguay in the last 16.

Group F results:

• Sweden 5-1 Tunisia

• Netherlands 5-1 Sweden

• Sweden 1-1 Japan

Spain – Victor Munoz

Spain vs. Austria

Round of 32 • LA StadiumJuly 2 • 8pm

BBC 1

*BST

While Victor Munoz isn’t yet fit to play, we’ll be hoping Spain get through so he can play in the latter rounds.

The European Championship holders have been dealt a relatively good draw, with Luis de la Fuente’s team facing Austria who are ranked 22nd in the world, below Iran.

If Spain progress, they will face Portugal or Croatia in the next round.

Group H results:

• Spain 0-0 Cape Verde

• Spain 4-0 Saudi Arabia

• Spain 1-0 Uruguay

*BST

Finally, on the last night of last-32 fixtures, reigning champions Argentina will play against the group stage’s surprise package, Cape Verde.

Lionel Messi, Alexis Mac Allister and co. are overwhelming favourites to get through and, if they do, will play against Australia or Egypt in the last 16.

Group J results:

• Argentina 3-0 Algeria

• Argentina 2-0 Austria

• Argentina 3-1 Jordan
