Everton have agreed a fee of £25million for Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney, talkSPORT understands.
Hackney has been the subject of interest from a host of clubs this summer including Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City.

Manchester United were also previously monitoring Hackney, who played under Michael Carrick for Boro.
Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Coventry have all been credited with an interest in the past.
However, the 24-year-old is now set to join the Toffees after a stellar campaign in the Championship.
It is expected the transfer will be completed before the start of pre-season.

Everton play their first friendly of the summer away against Scottish side Dundee on Saturday, July 18.
Last season saw Hackney named the division's Player of the Season as well as being named in the Team of the Year.
The former England Under-21 international scored five goals and added eight assists from midfield in 38 league appearances.
Hackney was unable to fire Boro to promotion, though, as they missed out on a top-flight return after nine years away.
His side finished four points adrift of automatic promotion in fifth place.
Despite losing to Southampton in the play-off semi-finals, they were reinstated after their opponents were disqualified for spying on other teams.

Boro were ultimately beaten 1-0 by Hull in the final at Wembley Stadium on May 23.
Hackney is now set to become Everton's second signing of the summer.
Merlin Rohl's loan move from Freiburg has been made permanent after the obligation to buy conditions were met.
The Toffees finished 13th in the Premier League last season, missing out on European qualification by just four points.
It came after they ended the season with a run of just one win in their last nine matches.
Those results included seven matches without a victory to conclude the campaign.

David Moyes will now lead the club into their 73rd consecutive top-flight season.
Everton begin their Premier League schedule at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, August 22.
