Curtis Jones has been linked with a Premier League move after Nottingham Forest sanctioned the record sale of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City. Forest are the latest club to be mentioned in connection with Jones as uncertainty continues over his Liverpool future, with the midfielder entering the final year of his contract.
Reports claim Forest are thought to be considering a move for Jones, who is valued at a minimum of £35 million. The transfer will be seen as a like-for-like replacement as the Tricky Trees look to replace Anderson quickly as pre-season preparation approach quickly.
With Anderson leaving in a deal reported at £116 million - and elsewhere as high as £130 million - it is little surprise that Forest have quickly been linked with midfield reinforcements. It follows a familiar transfer pattern: a club with fresh funds and a need in midfield, and a player at Anfield who could be open to a change.
Forest now appear to have the resources to meet Liverpool’s asking price, although whether Jones would be willing to join a lower-placed side remains unclear. He has a number of options available to him this transfer window including a possible place in the Inter Milan squad as the Serie A side look to build on their title-winning season.

Jones has largely featured as a squad option at Liverpool rather than a regular starter, which is believed to be driving his desire for a new challenge this summer. Forest could offer the minutes he wants, but they are also reportedly tracking Brighton’s Jack Hinshelwood and Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall.
Inter Milan are still said to be leading the race for Jones, but would need to return with an improved offer closer to Liverpool’s £35 million valuation. Liverpool, meanwhile, are reportedly prepared to let the 25-year-old run down his contract if no acceptable bid arrives.
Is there a Curtis Jones Next Club Odds market?
At the time of writing this, there is currently no odds market regarding the possible transfer of Curtis Jones this summer. As speculation continues to grow, their good be a chance an odds market breaks as the Liverpool squad player continues to assess his options ahead of the new season.
