In a recent interview with _La Gazzetta dello Sport_, Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus expressed his ‘dream’ of playing in Italy.
> _I have always dreamed of playing in Italy. Scoring two goals at San Siro against Inter was like making it come true._
> _I don’t know my future, I’m working now and we’ll see what happens with Arsenal._

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for a while now, having endured multiple injury lay-offs and reduced game time.
Few weeks ago, he had been linked with a move to Milan after switching to Giovanni Branchini’s agency, which also managed then-Milan boss Max Allegri. Juventus have also been linked with him.
Arsenal are looking for a fee in the region of £20–25 million to let Jesus go this summer, with the Brazil international having one year remaining on his £265,000-per-week contract with the north London outfit.
Jesus’ current wages are going to make for tricky negotiations for any club interested in his services. For all his talent, injuries are a real concern, and when available his form has been leaving a fair bit to be desired.
Ultimately, he will have to acquiesce to a pay cut come what may, but if he is to get a wage package close to the one he has right now, a free transfer may be Jesus’ best bet. With just one year remaining on his Arsenal deal, he could do a lot worse than seeing out his contract at the Emirates and try to attract suitors with the chances he gets to get on the pitch.
