Scott not for sale as Cherries reject Arsenal enquiry

As reported, Bournemouth will offer Scott a new contract this summer, with the intention of not selling the 22-year-old Englishman after a superb season last term.

Arsenal have enquired about Scott, but their approach has been rejected by the Cherries as they look to keep hold of their player.

Scott in particular has generated interest from other Premier League clubs, such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea, but the club are clear in their position that he is not for sale.

The 22-year-old had a brilliant season and featured in all but one league game as the Cherries qualified for Europe for the first time in their history, with that one absence due to illness on the final day of the season at Nottingham Forest.

Once he had recovered from that illness, he travelled to Florida with the England squad as part of the preparations for the World Cup this summer.

He has made a total of 89 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
