Four first team players from Arsenal Women will change their squad numbers ahead of the 2026-27 season. With the departures of players like Manu Zinsberger, Beth Mead, Laia Codina and Katie McCabe, some prominent numbers have been vacated.
Goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar moves from number 14 to take the number 1 shirt vacated by Manu Zinsberger, who has joined Borussia Dortmund. That leaves number 14 clear, which was worn by incoming signing Geraldine Reueteler at Frankfurt. Michelle Agyemang moves from 29 to the number 17 shirt which has been vacant since Lina Hurtig’s departure last summer. Selina Cerci wore the 29 shirt at Hoffenheim.
Olivia Smith mimics Katie McCabe by moving from 15 to 11, just as McCabe did in the summer of 2024. Meanwhile, Caitlin Foord, who has worn 19 since her arrival in January 2020 will take Beth Mead’s number 9 shirt. That makes the squad numbers for 2026-27 as per the below as it stands, with new arrivals set to be announced shortly. (Jenna Nighswonger is still likely to leave).
