Barcelona star Joan García has this week revealed his appreciation for the talents of new Blaugrana teammate Anthony Gordon.
Wide-man Gordon of course put pen to paper on a long-term contract in Catalunya’s capital late last month.
After a quickfire round of negotiations between the clubs, in something of a bolt from the blue, Barca announced that they had secured the explosive attacker’s services from Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
The Spanish champions are thought to have beaten out stiff competition for a player who was in demand across not only England, but all of Europe this summer.
And one individual who feels that Gordon will ultimately go on to prove himself a success in Barcelona colours is the aforementioned Joan García.
Speaking during an interview with RAC1, as cited by journalist Mauricio Prialé, on Wednesday, goalkeeper Joan revealed his take that:
“Gordon can bring us a great deal. We already suffered against Newcastle because of him. He has intensity and pressure. With the ball, he also makes very good decisions, gets his teammates playing really well. It’s a great signing and he’ll help us a lot.”

Con pelota también toma muy buenas decisiones, hace jugar muy bien a sus compañeros. Es un gran acierto y nos ayudará muchísimo. Szczęsny me ha ayudado mucho, no… pic.twitter.com/DMyGRzw9pf
