Manchester City made the decision to pluck Mathys Detourbet from City Group sister club Troyes, with the winger, who helped the French side secure promotion to Ligue 1 last season, joining for a reported fee in the region of £21.5m. Detourbet isn't expected to compete for a first-team spot, however, with the likelihood being that he'll be sent out on loan, potentially to Ligue 1 club Monaco, in a move that is set to include a purchase option.
