FC Barcelona have added another fixture to their pre-season schedule, with a friendly against Udinese on 8 August in Udine, Italy, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The match joins an increasingly busy summer programme as Hansi Flick’s side prepare for the 2026/27 campaign.
Pre-Season begins on 13 July
The first team will report back to the Joan Gamper Sports City on 13 July, when players will undergo the usual medical examinations before beginning preparations for the new season.
After a week of training in Barcelona, the squad will travel to St. George’s Park in England for a training camp running from 27 July to 3 August.

The club is still waiting for several international players to return from the FIFA World Cup before the full squad is available.
Confirmed friendly matches
Barcelona had already confirmed two pre-season friendlies so far: first one on 24 July against Europa at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and then on 31 July: Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s.
Now, the Blaugrana will lock horns with Udinese in Udine, Italy, on 8 August. The possibility of facing the Serie A side had been reported in recent days, and the match has now been finalised.

Nottingham Forest may also be involved, with reports from BBC in England suggesting that a three-team pre-season tournament was rubber-stamped earlier this week.
However, with the Premier League club changing their managers today, from Vitor Pereira to Oliver Glasner, plans could end up being altered.
More matches still possible
Barcelona are still working on completing the remainder of their summer schedule.
Friendlies in Rabat (Morocco) and Nairobi (Kenya) have been discussed but have not yet been officially confirmed.
The club is also expected to play another match during its training camp in England, with Watford and Stoke City among the clubs linked as potential opponents.
Meanwhile, Barcelona’s traditional Joan Gamper Trophy is scheduled to take place on 19 August.
The opponent for the annual curtain-raiser has yet to be announced, with many names being discussed after Ajax and RB Leipzig were ruled out as possible opposition.
