The distinctive Royal Blue shirt, the latest produced by Castore, will feature a white, cutaway collar and white sleeve trims - both of which contain a dash of ‘trinity amber’.

That is paired with brilliant white shorts and Royal Blue socks. The shorts include a blue vertical flash down the sides with amber on the cutaway, while the socks are topped with a white and amber trim.

The green, round-necked goalkeeper kit will have a black collar and sleeve trim, with matching shorts and socks. The kits will be worn by the men and women’s teams and are now on sale, online and in club shops.

The new designs are the first to include Everton’s new front-of-shirt sponsor, online trading firm CMC Markets.

The club announced its deal with the financial services company on Wednesday, with the organisation replacing gambling outlet Stake as new rules come into force on main sponsors in the Premier League.

Stake have renewed their relationship with Everton and will instead have a presence on the sleeves of the kit. The combined new shirt sponsorship deals are understood to be worth more than those they are replacing, a significant boost for the club in a competitive market.

The branding will not appear on children’s replica kits, in line with Everton’s adherence to advertising standards.

The kits will be available in different formats, with pro-kits made with the same fabric that will be worn by the players on matchday and featuring a raised silicone, heat-sealed club crest available in men’s and women’s sizes.

Non-textured replica kits include a woven club crest and Castore logo. The kit will be available in long sleeves in both versions, with a limited stock of sponsor-free shirts available in men’s sizes and outfield shirts.

Short-sleeved, adult pro shirts will retail at £115, with short-sleeved, adult replica tops on sale for £80. The long sleeved versions of both formats will cost an additional £5. Blue shorts and white socks are available in men’s and youth sizes. The goalkeeper kit is only available in replica format.

The shirt was launched with a video of players from both senior teams at a steelworks close to Hill Dickinson Stadium, a location the club said was chosen to celebrate Everton’s place on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront and pay homage to the heritage of the venue’s industrial surroundings.

Jordan Pickford, James Garner, James Tarkowski, Vitalii Mykolenko, Michael Keane and Harrison Armstrong were joined by Megan Finnigan, Courtney Brosnan, Aurora Galli and Honoka Hayashi for the launch, carried out under the tagline ‘The Everton Mettle: Forged in History, Bound by Loyalty’.

Men’s, women’s and youth kits, as well as infant and baby versions, are now on sale online atstore.evertonfc.com, and in-store at the Official Everton Store and Everton Two. Fanatics are providing free shipping for all online UK orders.
