Castro arrives in Catalonia from Mallorca, although he spent the last season out on loan with CF Damm’s youth team.
During that spell, the teenager played regularly and showcased good defensive nous and reading of the game, enough for him to earn a move to Barcelona.
Castro will now be integrated into Juliano Belletti’s Barça Atletic setup, who are going through significant changes in the squad, with defender Andres Cuenca already leaving, while Alvaro Cortes is expected to move to the first-team squad.
