Liverpool have confirmed Andoni Iraola‘s new-look backroom staff after deals were agreed to appoint a number of his coaches from former club Bournemouth.
Iraola’s Bournemouth assistants Tommy Elphick and Shaun Cooper are among those added to Liverpool’s staff this summer.
Fitness specialist Pablo de la Torre has arrived following his departure from Dean Court, while analyst Tom Webber has also made the switch.
De La Torre takes up the official role of assistant coach, with Elphick and Cooper first-team coaches and Webber first-team tactical analyst.

Elphick and Cooper are both former Bournemouth players who took up positions with the club upon their retirement, first as part of the academy and then, following the appointment of Gary O’Neil in 2022, with the first team.
Cooper has specialised in set-pieces and could take up the duties vacated by Aaron Briggs when he was sacked in December.
Meanwhile, De La Torre has worked with Iraola at AEK Larnaca, Rayo Vallecano and Bournemouth, and is known for his relentless approach to fitness and conditioning.

He replaces the departed Ruben Peeters, who left Liverpool upon Arne Slot‘s sacking along with assistants Sipke Hulshoff and Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
First-team tactical analyst Roderick van der Ham has also left the club, which explains Webber’s appointment.
Iraola, Elphick, Cooper, De la Torre and Webber are now set to resume work ahead of Liverpool’s start to pre-season training later in July.
