Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga now looks set to join Manchester City and not Arsenal after the Premier League side hijacked the move on Thursday night.
Reports from The Athletic have claimed that City, who are now managed by ex-City boss Enzo Maresca, are working on a deal to sign Monga for a fee in the region of £10million.
It's said that the two clubs, who have a good relationship after past dealings, are in direct contact and a move is likely. Arsenal had seemed the favourites to land the 16-year-old having had two bids turned down.

The Gunners are claimed to have felt that Leicester's £10m valuation was too high and withdrew. However, Man City are willing to meet the Foxes' demands with Maresca suggested to be behind the club's drive for the move.
12 months ago, Monga committed to a one-year scholarship which will turn into a professional contract when he turns 17 next week. The agreement came after the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and City all showed interest.

The scholarship terms agreed mean that Leicester will receive a transfer fee, rather than potentially losing Monga for free. Previously, Man City took Tyrese Noubissie off them and Trey Nyoni moved to Liverpool, with the Foxes receiving no set transfer fee.
Monga's imminent £10m move to Manchester will make him the joint most expensive League One departures - currently held by Mark McGuinness' transfer from Luton Town to Sheffield United last summer.
