Jeremy Monga update emerges
According to reporter Fabrizio Romano, a deal worth £10m has been struck following the presentation of a long-term project by Manchester City’s new boss Enzo Maresca.
Postinv on X, Romano said: “Jeremy Monga to Manchester City, here we go! Deal in place with Leicester City and player side.
“Fee worth £10m package as MCFC got deal done after long talks with Arsenal but no breakthrough. Maresca, involved in process to sign Monga by presenting long-term project.”
Jeremy Monga’s future
A left-sided winger, Monga’s trickery in the final third have sparked talk of a future among the world’s elite. However, Manchester City will need to manage his development carefully if they do officially get him on board.
Many promising players have seen their careers stall in the aftermath of moves to Premier League giants, something all parties will be aware of.

Monga may find himself out on loan in the coming years if he is not deemed ready for first-team football at the Etihad Stadium upon arrival.
Leeds may not be welcoming Monga to their ranks, but have an abundance of young prospects on their books. Among the most exciting is 17-year-old forward Harry Gray, who is reportedly set to be loaned out to Sheffield Wednesday in League One.
