Arsenal have held talks to sign two other midfielders alongside Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes in the summer transfer window, according to GIVEMESPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs.
The Gunners are in the market for reinforcements during the summer transfer window, and it appears that signing a midfielder is likely to be one of their priorities.
The North London club lifted the Premier League title last season, so they won't need to panic in order to improve their squad this summer.
Mikel Arteta's side will be hoping to go one step further next term in the Champions League after losing the final against Paris Saint-Germain.
They will likely need to strengthen in certain areas in order to do so, and they are already working on potential deals.

According to GIVEMESPORT correspondent Jacobs, speaking on the Market Madness podcast, Arsenal have held talks for two midfielders alongside Guimaraes in the summer transfer window.
Jacobs confirms that, alongside Guimaraes, Arsenal have held talks for Bournemouth's Alex Scott and Lille midfielder Ayoubb Bouaddi.
"Take everything Berta does very tactically as well, because Guimaraes wasn't the only midfielder that Arsenal approached. Berta lines up several deals to the point of fruition, whether he thinks there's a willing seller or not, and that's why, along with Bruno Guimaraes, there was Alex Scott talks for Arsenal. There have been Bouaddi talks for Arsenal, and no doubt several other central midfielders too, because this is just how Arsenal work."
It's unclear who the priority target for Arsenal is in the summer transfer window, but it appears that signing a midfielder is at the top of their short list.

Signing Guimaraes Will Be Tricky for Arsenal

Signing Guimaraes will certainly be difficult for Arsenal in the summer transfer window, as there is little chance that Newcastle will sanction a departure.
The Magpies are already set to lose Sandro Tonali, with Tottenham agreeing a deal to secure his signature for around £100m.
Newcastle certainly don't need the money after offloading Tonali to Spurs and selling Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, so they'll be desperate to keep hold of Guimaraes.
As a result, the Gunners may need to move on to alternative targets, hence why they've been in talks with the likes of Scott and Bouaddi in the summer window.
