Liverpool are reportedly open to selling one of their key stars in the summer transfer window, despite him being previously labelled as untouchable.
The Reds are preparing to enter a new era in the 26-27 season as they deal with life without Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson.
For many Liverpool supporters, having Salah in this side is all they will remember, and the same can be said for Robertson too.
Liverpool will need to replace the aforementioned trio, and they are losing plenty of experience from their side too.
Despite that, reports have suggested that Liverpool could look to offload one of their other experienced players in the squad, which could be a huge risk.

According to a report from Team Talk, Liverpool have made a U-turn on their stance on selling Virgil van Dijk in the summer transfer window.
It's claimed that the Reds did regard the Dutch international as untouchable, but they are now prepared to consider any serious offers for Van Dijk over the coming weeks and months.
Liverpool reportedly regret handing Van Dijk a new £350,000-a-week deal back in 2025 and can now look to offload him in the summer transfer window if an offer arrives at the table.
AC Milan have opened talks to secure his signature through intermediaries, while Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also interested.
Clubs from the Saudi Pro League are monitoring his situation, while there is also interest from Major League Soccer.

Even forgetting about Van Dijk's football ability, offloading him in the summer transfer window would be a huge mistake for the Merseyside club.
The Reds are already losing a lot of experience in Konate, Salah, and Robertson, so losing their most experienced player and captain would be a blow.
Although he's soon to turn 35, Liverpool aren't going to receive a huge amount of money for him, so it doesn't make sense for them to offload him.
The Dutch defender only has a year remaining on his contract, so they'd be better off keeping him for another year and then allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
