Josh Abe has been a name that has burst onto the scene with Liverpool, having shown enough potential to warrant an opportunity with the first team this summer.
The 15-year-old has progressed through the academy ranks and made his way into the under-18s team for the previous season, showing plenty of potential in the process.
Abe managed ten appearances in the under-18s Premier League, with the left-footed right-winger clearly doing enough to impress the hierarchy at Anfield during that spell.
The forward has since committed to his first professional contract for next year, when he is able to sign the terms of the deal on his 17th birthday.
Having shrugged off interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea recently, Abe is set to be given a chance to impress with the senior team in the coming weeks.
There is an expectation that the 15-year-old will be part of the pre-season roster at the start of the summer for Andoni Iraola, with the promising young prospect given a chance to be around the Liverpool first team and potentially handed some minutes during friendly matches to see how well he competes.

While it may prove to be a bit early for him to be regularly involved in senior soccer, the star will be setting the foundations for the future, and has already started work to hit the ground running.
Abe has recently been training for his return to action, having seen his previous campaign ended early through a knee injury he sustained.
The forward was seen working with former Liverpool academy defender Kris Owens, with the work being put in to get him back up to speed before his pre-season chance.

It's the first step for Abe to make himself a regular in the senior team setup, at a time when Liverpool academy stars can have a real influence on the roster moving forward.

Rio Ngumoha has already had an impact, shortly after his move from Chelsea and a spell in the youth setups, with the youngster proving why he is one of the most impressive teenagers in world football.
He is joined by Trey Nyoni, who was given some minutes last season in midfield, and could be given another opportunity to shine over the course of the next campaign.
It remains to be seen whether Abe can make a similar impression, but there is certainly some hope that he will be the next impressive star through the academy for Liverpool.
