Edwin Quintero scored just three minutes after coming on for his senior club debut as Independiente del Valle beat Manta 4-0 in a league game.
The winger, who will join Arsenal when he turns 18 in August 2027, came on as a substitute for the Brazilian club in the 84th minute and found the net in the 87th minute.
Ecuador U17 international Quintero will now hope to gain further experience of senior football prior to his move to Arsenal.
His twin brother Holger, who plays as an attacking midfielder, is also set to join Arsenal next year and is rated very highly.
In May Holger was named player of the tournament as Independiente del Valle U17s won the Liam Brady Cup at Hale End.
