The summer transfer window has been open for nearly three weeks but, in truth, Arsenal are yet to spring into action.
The Gunners want to add quality to their squad over the coming months having won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years in May. Mikel Arteta 's side also reached the Champions League and Carabao Cup finals and the Spaniard will want to ensure he has the necessary tools to compete on all four fronts during the 2026/27 season.
Piero Hincapie became the first player officially through the door last week, with the defender completing a £34.5million move from Bayer Leverkusen. The defender spent last season on loan at Emirates Stadium and the Gunners chose to make the deal permanent having been impressed with the Ecuador international's performances.
