Chelsea are prepared to use one of 4 players in their offer for Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, according to reports.
TalkSPORT claim that Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, Axel Disasi or Benoit Badiashile could be included in the Blues’ proposal in order to “sweeten the deal”.
It doesn’t appear as if Palace would be interested in a part-exchange offer, as they have already identified a potential replacement for Lacroix – Toulouse’s Charlie Cresswell.
For that reason, Xabi Alonso’s side may be better off tabling a cash-only bid for one of their top transfer targets.

All 4 Chelsea defenders are deemed surplus to requirements
Despite Chalobah playing regularly last season, the 26-year-old has less than two years left on his contract, and the club are willing to sell him if a team stumps up £35m. Como have already had more than one bid rejected for the player.
Adarabioyo’s current deal runs until 2028, just like Chalobah’s, so he is also on the market. Disasi was always expected to leave on a permanent basis after his loan spell at West Ham. It was hoped that there would be some decent offers for the Frenchman after impressing during his time at the London Stadium, but they haven’t materialised so far.
There is not much hope of offloading Badiashile. His extremely poor injury record and his lengthy contract mean he may well be sticking around.

Lacroix is not the only centre-back target
The 26-year-old is currently the preferred option to strengthen the middle of defence, but there are more names on the club’s shortlist.
Como’s Jacobo Ramon is someone that Alonso also likes, having previously worked with him in Real Madrid’s academy. For now, though, finding an agreement with Palace for Lacroix is the main focus.
