Here's all you need to know about Jeremy Monga and Manchester City's move for the youngster...

Monga then signed a one-year scholarship deal with Leicester that would become a professional deal when he turned 17.

Arsenal were expected to complete a move for Monga this summer but the arrival of Enzo Maresca saw City reignite their interest in the youngster.

Maresca was Foxes boss while Monga was coming through the ranks in the East Midlands and so he knows the player and his talent better than most.

Monga has already made 34 senior appearances for Leicester, despite not turning 17 until July 10, and even made his Premier League debut at the age of 15 when he came on as a substitute against Newcastle United in April 2025.

Only Arsenal pair Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri have appeared in a top-flight fixture at a younger age.

Monga has played most of his football at Leicester on the left but can also play centrally or on the right.

Monga is expected to be handed a chance to shine on City's pre-season tour of Asia this summer, with a whole host of Blues stars still away at the World Cup.
