The Chelsea midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, although the Spanish club have had their say on the speculation.

Enzo Fernandez's partner Valu Cervantes has said she is happy with whatever decision the midfielder makes over his future this summer. The Chelsea man has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
His agent Javier Pastore, has added fuel to the fire by saying that Fernandez is exploring his options to leave the club. It was however, emphasised that his concentration is currently on his participation in the World Cup with Argentina.
Speaking while over in North America supporting Fernandez, Cervantes has made her stance on any potential transfer clear. She also hinted that a stay in England with Chelsea is a possibility.
Speaking to El Chiringuito, she said: "No honestly, it's fine. My son was born in England and they go to school there, so I'm very happy. Any team is fine with me. Whichever team it is, I'll be fine."
When asked if it’s different for Real Madrid, she added: "No for me the teams are the same."
The comments come after the Spanish side confirmed that they’re not in talks to sign the midfielder, despite reports linking them with the player.
"In light of the reports and statements that have appeared in recent days regarding an alleged interest from Real Madrid CF in the player Enzo Fernandez, the club wishes to state that it has not made any effort, either direct or indirect, to sign the aforementioned player and, likewise, has no intention of undertaking such an operation,” they said on their club website.
"Real Madrid wishes to express its utmost respect for Enzo Fernandez, a great footballer whose career and quality are widely known, as well as for Chelsea FC, a club with which it maintains an excellent institutional relationship.
"Precisely because of the respect that an entity like Chelsea FC deserves and because of the principles of institutional loyalty that have always governed the actions of Real Madrid, the club considers it necessary to categorically deny speculations that are unfounded and do not correspond to reality.

"Real Madrid regrets that, despite the clarity of the facts and the lack of any action on the part of the club, information continues to be disseminated that does not correspond to reality and that only contributes to generating confusion among fans and unnecessarily harming the entities and people involved."
Fernandez has been with Chelsea since joining in a £107 million from Benfica in January 2023. He is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2032.
The 25-year-old will be back in World Cup action on Tuesday evening (5pm BST) when they take on Egypt in the round of 16. Argentina booked their place thanks to a 3-2 extra-time win over Cape Verde.
