Brazil and Norway meet on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in a World Cup Round of 16 tie, with a quarterfinal place at stake.
The Selecao came through their last-32 tie the hard way, labouring past Japan before Gabriel Martinelli's finish sealed a 2-1 comeback win in Houston. Carlo Ancelotti's five-time champions have not always convinced but remain among the favorites.
Norway are through to the last 16 for the first time since 1998, having beaten Ivory Coast 2-1 thanks to an 86th-minute Erling Haaland winner, the first knockout victory in Norwegian men's World Cup history.
Here is how we expect the teams to line up.

Brazil projected starting 11
(4-3-3, right to left): 1. Alisson (GK) — 13. Danilo, 4. Marquinhos, 3. Gabriel, 6. Alex Sandro — 8. B. Guimaraes, 5. Casemiro, L. Paqueta — 26. Rayan, 9. M. Cunha, 7. Vinicius Jr.
Injured: Raphinha (hamstring, doubt), Casemiro (knock, doubt), Paqueta (knock, doubt)
Suspended: None
On a yellow card: Casemiro, Danilo
Ancelotti has a fully fit squad to choose from, with the exception of Raphinha. However, the Barcelona winger has been progressing well in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could be involved in this game.
The Italian coach faces a call up front after Martinelli's match-winning cameo against Japan put him in contention to start, but it seems more likely he will stick with Rayan and Vinicius Junior.
Casemiro, who is on a yellow card, and Bruno Guimaraes will anchor the midfield. The former is a minor injury doubt but is expected to be available. Lucas Paqueta will also face a late call after limping off in the Japan game.
Norway projected starting 11
(4-3-3, right to left): 1. O. Nyland (GK) — 16. M. Pedersen, 3. K. Ajer, 17. T. Heggem, 5. D. Moller Wolfe — 8. S. Berge, 14. F. Aursnes, 10. M. Odegaard — 7. A. Sorloth, 9. E. Haaland, 20. A. Nusa
Injured: Ryerson (thigh)
Suspended: None
On a yellow card: Nusa
Stale Solbakken is expected to keep faith with the side that edged past Ivory Coast, built around the pace of Antonio Nusa and the aerial threat of Alexander Sorloth alongside Haaland.
Martin Odegaard is the creative hub in midfield, with Sander Berge and Fredrik Aursnes providing the legs behind him against a Brazil side full of runners.
Julian Ryerson is still sidelined with a thigh injury.
Brazil vs. Norway predictions, betting odds
Brazil have not hit top gear but still carry far more attacking quality across the pitch. Norway will pin their hopes on Haaland and set-pieces, and they are capable of causing problems, but the Selecao should edge a competitive contest.
Score prediction: Brazil 2-1 Norway
