Leicester City are said to have agreed a £12.5m transfer deal with Manchester City for Jeremy Monga.
City are understood to have beaten Premier League champions Arsenal and Manchester United to capture the 16-year-old, with the deal also including a sell-on clause.
Arsenal looked favourites to pull off a deal for Monga before City, managed by former Foxes boss Enzo Maresca, entered the transfer chase.
The Gunners are claimed to have ultimately felt that Leicester's valuation was too high.

Monga, who turns 17 this month, agreed to a one-year scholarship contract which is set to turn into a professional contract on July 10.
He has made 37 appearances for the Foxes and is the third-youngest player to feature in a Premier League match, behind Arsenal duo Max Dowman and Ethan Nwaneri.
