Chelsea are open to the sale of Andrey Santos this summer with numerous Premier League clubs understood to be interested in the midfielder.

The 22-year-old is being targeted by a number of the Blues' division rivals with uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge. While Santos has four years remaining on his contract in west London, Chelsea, while not pushing the midfielder out, are open to offers for his services - as long as they are at the right price.

Santos made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Blues in the 2025/26 season but only 25 of them came from the start. With Chelsea not having any form of European football next season, Santos' time in the side could become even more limited, with the Blues targeting a central midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea hold a similar stance when it comes to Enzo Fernandez. If a potential suitor is willing to pay £120million, then Fernandez will be allowed to leave. However, that appears more unlikely after Real Madrid released an official statement on Friday morning that said they have "no intention" of pursuing a move for the Argentine this summer.

Sources close to Stamford Bridge are relaxed about the situation and when asked by football.london in the aftermath of the statement, they insisted nothing has changed. Chelsea will welcome Fernandez back into the squad should nobody offer their asking price and he would then be a part of Xabi Alonso's squad next season.

Valentin Barco is expected to arrive from Strasbourg to give Alonso another much-needed option in the centre of midfield. Chelsea have not confirmed the Argentina international's signing just yet but sources close to the matter insist he will be moving to the Bridge in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have seemingly missed out on the signing of Granit Xhaka from Sunderland. Alonso was determined to reunite with the 33-year-old midfielder following their success together at Bayer Leverkusen but the Black Cats are insistent he is not for sale at any price this summer.
