Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at West Ham as Fenerbahçe and Everton loom

**West Ham United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to leave the club this summer.**

When West Ham were relegated on the final day of the season in May, there were some players you just knew would leave and wouldn’t want to hang around in the Championship.

The first two were Mateus Fernandes, who has already left, and the other Crysencio Summerville. These two were because they were both way too good for the Championship, and they don’t have the connection to the club that says Jarrod Bowen does, which looks like it might be enough for him to stay.

One player that has neither of those, isn’t very good, and doesn’t really have a connection to the club is Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Despite winning Hammer of the Year in 24/25, AWB is a player almost every West Ham fan wouldn’t mind seeing the back of because of his laziness and poor attitude at times last season.

We won’t want to keep him because of his performances, his wages, and the potential transfer fee we can get, and he won’t want to stay because I’m sure he thinks he’s too good to play in the Championship. So, it would be best for both parties if he departs East London this summer.

But for him to leave, clubs need to be interested in him. Before the window officially opened, he was heavily linked with a move to David Moyes’ Everton in a move worth around £10-15. million, but that never materialised.

Most recently, he’s been linked with a move to Turkey with Fenerbahçe; I personally believe that would be a disastrous move because he lacks the commitment to play for a team like that, but if they or anyone is willing to pay £12-15 million for him, then we should drive him there.

If I had to guess, AWB will leave West Ham, but not till later in the window. I can see him being a bit of a panic buy for a team that needs a right-back as the transfer deadline approaches. After a couple of decent performances for DR Congo in the World Cup, we should be able to get a double-figure fee at the very least.
