Tottenham are planning to table an official offer for Premier League star.
Tottenham Hotspur will likely shift their transfer focus onto their forward line now, having completed several deals in defence and in midfield already in this summer transfer window.
The North Londoners have completed five new signings this summer, with a sixth done apart from official confirmation in a real statement of intent to the rest of the Premier League. We don’t appear to be stopping there, though.
Manchester City winger Savinho has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs. Tottenham saw several bids rejected for Savinho last year, as former Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wanted to keep him. Now with Guardiola gone, the N17 bosses are determined to lure him to north London this summer.
Alongside Savinho, Tottenham also hold an interest in another Man City attacker.
Tottenham preparing official offer for Man City forward Omar Marmoush
According to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham are preparing an official offer to sign Omar Marmoush from Man City. Roberto De Zerbi is a big admirer of the Egyptian international and wants to add him to his squad, but his club will face competition from the likes of Galatasaray, Juventus, Barcelona and Aston Villa.
The Sky Blues are demanding a fee in the region of €60 million to allow the versatile forward to depart. Marmoush could be keen to depart Man City after struggling to become a guaranteed starter since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. He has netted 16 goals and supplied six assists in 61 appearances for City thus far, but with Erling Haaland an undisputed starter up top, the Egyptian has struggled for regular starts.
For Spurs, the pursuit of Marmoush adds another high-profile name to what is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious transfer windows in the club’s long history. Marmoush has established himself as a key attacking option for City, offering versatility across the frontline, genuine goal-scoring output, and flair that has made him a regular feature in the Egypt national team setup.
The Lilywhites planning to table an official offer underlines our intention to build around the 27-year-old as a long-term fixture rather than a short-term squad addition. The move continues a clear pattern in Tottenham’s recruitment strategy this summer, with De Zerbi consistently driving interest in Premier League-proven players whose attacking qualities, technical security, and tactical knowhow align closely with the possession-based, attacking style of play he wants to implement.
That said, it will be interesting to see if Marmoush’s situation changes in the coming weeks, with Guardiola leaving the Etihad Stadium and being replaced by Enzo Maresca.
