He has a contract until 2030, meaning Chelsea hold all the cards.
United’s strategy is clear. Ederson is already arriving from Atalanta for £38 million to replace the outgoing Casemiro. Michael Carrick wants a second midfield signing to partner him. Santos brings the aggression and press-resistance that complements Ederson’s box-to-box style.
