Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Boca Juniors attacking midfielder Tomas Aranda, according to reports in the Argentinian media.

El Crack Deportivo claims that the Gunners have their “sights” on Boca’s “jewel”, but the Premier League champions have yet to table a formal offer.
Aranda has previously been linked with a move to Italy. Both Como and Parma have been mentioned as potential suitors for the youngster.
Boca are, however, very keen to keep hold of the 19-year-old after he made his first-team breakthrough last season.
What do fans need to know about Aranda?
The teenager came through Boca’s youth academy, and he made his senior debut against Estudiantes as a substitute during a 2-1 defeat back in late January.
Less than two months later, Aranda scored his first goal, finding the back of the net during a 2-0 win over Instituto.
Although he is ostensibly a number 10, his manager Claudio Ubeda has tended to use him on the left wing, so he can cut in onto his stronger right foot and create chances.
Despite having played just 21 senior games, he was handed his first senior cap for Argentina by head coach Lionel Scaloni last month. He played the final ten minutes of the 2-0 friendly victory against Honduras.

Arsenal can sign him for a pretty low price
El Crack Deportivo report that there is a “termination clause” in Aranda’s contract worth $20m (£15m), which will tempt Mikel Arteta’s side to make a move for the player.
There would be question marks over whether he is ready for Premier League football, especially as he has only played a handful of first-team games, so if he does make the switch to the Emirates, it is likely that he would be loaned out to another team or loaned back to Boca to gain more experience.
