Man City attacking midfielder Jack Grealish is set to get a second chance at the Etihad, according to reports.
After being loaned out to Everton last season (with a £50m purchase clause), it looked like the 30-year-old had played his last game for the Cityzens.

However, a broken foot ended Grealish’s season early, and Everton opted against triggering their option to buy as a consequence.
The Toffees were still hoping to re-sign the England international for a lower fee, but TEAMtalk claim that new head coach Enzo Maresca has weighed in on proceedings.
Grealish will take part in pre-season
Maresca has worked with the midfielder before, when he was assistant manager under Pep Guardiola, and he is reportedly a big fan.
It is believed that Grealish (who was signed for £100m from Aston Villa in 2021) will be given an opportunity to prove himself by Maresca in pre-season training.
While a permanent sale has not been completely ruled out, the decision to offload Grealish could well be delayed until the end of the summer transfer window.

It is a fresh start for several Man City players
Grealish is not the only one who is likely to be given a second chance. Tijjani Reijnders could well benefit, having lost his place under Guardiola in the second half of last season.
The likes of Nico Gonzalez, Savinho and even Omar Marmoush have also been linked with exits, so it remains to be seen if Maresca will take another look at them as well.
A decision has, though, already been made on Nathan Ake. The Dutchman did not feature regularly during the 2025/26 campaign, and his £8.5m move to Turkish side Fenerbahce was confirmed on Saturday. He leaves the Etihad after six years, having won 12 major honours, including four Premier League titles.
