While Chelsea's sporting directors, along with Xabi Alonso, are looking at completing a few more signings before the summer transfer window is out, there is also an emphasis from the Blues on selling a number of players in that time.

After a dismal 2025/26 campaign, more or less to the club's own admission, there is set to be open-heart surgery at Stamford Bridge this summer. With Alonso, the new manager, in the dugout, Chelsea's five-strong sporting leadership team are looking to help the Spaniard as much as they can in time for his debut season with the club by giving him the most competitive squad possible for his new adventure.

To do that, there needs to be a few sales this summer. Not only because the club need to inject some money in order to balance the books, but also due to the massive underperformance during the last campaign.

With all of this being said, football.london takes a look at five Chelsea players we know for certain, via various sources, the club will allow to leave this summer:

Enzo Fernandez

Fernandez, remarkably, appears more likely to stay at Chelsea this summer than move anywhere else. Real Madrid, staggeringly, released a statement last week and said the club has "no intention" of pursuing a move for the Blues midfielder this summer.

football.london knows Los Blancos expressed a keen interest in Fernandez earlier in the summer transfer window but for whatever reason, that move appears unlikely at the time of writing. From Chelsea's perspective, nothing has changed, really, with sources insisting throughout the process that they were not actively looking to sell the 25-year-old. Equally, though, the west Londoners would not block his departure should they receive £120million.

Malo Gusto

Similarly, Chelsea are open to selling Gusto this summer if the price is right for the France international. Said price is, sources say, £75m - one that has raised numerous eyebrows but one the Blues believe to be a fair price and one reflective of the current right-back market.

Manchester City are interested in Gusto with Enzo Maresca keen for a reunion with the Chelsea defender. Premier League rival or not, Chelsea have no problem selling to Man City as long as they cough up the hefty chunk of change for the Frenchman, who is said to be keen to explore his options before the September 1 deadline.

Filip Jorgensen

It became clear at the back end of May that Jorgensen wants to leave Chelsea this summer. For the majority of the Dane's time at Stamford Bridge, he has been Robert Sanchez's understudy in goal and he wants more regular first-team minutes.

Chelsea told him the best way he can do that is by moving elsewhere. The Blues will sell Jorgensen should they receive the right offer for his services. What that figure looks like, we do not really know but it won't be too expensive given his status in the squad.

Andrey Santos

Another man looking for first-team minutes is Santos. After Moises Caicedo signed a long-term contract extension at Stamford Bridge towards the end of last season, it became clear to the Brazil international that those regular minutes might not come with Chelsea.

The Blues rate Santos highly but will sanction a move if the right offer comes their way. While sources close to Chelsea refused to disclose how much that would be, one report from elsewhere claims the west Londoners' asking price to be around £50m. Manchester United and Newcastle United have both expressed a keen interest in the 22-year-old, according to sources.

Trevoh Chalobah

Chalobah, too, can leave Stamford Bridge this summer. Chelsea are targeting around £35m for the England international, who has keen interest from two Italian sides. Como and Inter Milan are battling it out for the 27-year-old's signature and at the time of writing, it looks as if the latter have stolen the lead.

Chelsea's asking price for the aforementioned quintet is probably close to £300m in total. Fernandez being £120m, Gusto £75m, Chalobah £35m, Santos (reportedly) £50m and with Jorgensen, it is really unclear at this point but one would assume around £15m-20m.
