Arsenal are weighing up a potential bid for Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon, according to journalist Thiago Rodrigues.
Posting on his X account, Rodrigues said the Gunners have been “closely” following the 21-year-old’s development.

It is believed that an enquiry for Bidon was first made at the end of last year, and Chelsea have subsequently been mentioned as potential suitors.
This latest report from Brazil may suggest that Mikel Arteta’s side are considering stepping up their pursuit, having kept their eye on him for more than six months.
Bidon can play multiple positions, having been deployed as a no.6, a no.8, a no.10 and on both wings by Corinthians last season.
Will it impact the club’s pursuit of Guimaraes?
Considering that the Gunners are also keen on signing Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes, you would not expect the London club to bring both players to the Emirates this summer.
It is more than likely that Bidon is on the shortlist of backup options that Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta have drawn up just in case the move for Guimaraes fails to materialise.
At the moment, Newcastle are said to be determined to retain the 28-year-old’s services, having turned down one verbal offer which was worth between £45m and £55m.
