Harry Kane has provided an update following his team-mate Jordan Henderson's injury, which occurred during England's celebratory scenes after their dramatic 3-2 victory over Mexico.
Speaking directly to the BBC in the immediate aftermath of his team-mate's mishap, England skipper Harry Kane said with a broken voice: "Yeah Hendo just fell over there. I think he's OK. Something to do with his arm."
BBC host Kelly Cates then elaborated: "Kane says he's absolutely fine but he did fall over the advertising hoardings. That's what we think happened. He looked like he was getting some oxygen as he was stretchered off the pitch. We wish Jordan Henderson well."
Jude Bellingham also weighed in on his friend's condition, saying: "He's in a bit of bother. But our medical team have got everything under control. I'm best not to give too much detail, I don't know everything that's going on. Everyone was there to support him and even that was beautiful to see."
The incident left Thomas Tuchel with conflicting emotions, as 10-man England's courageous World Cup triumph over Mexico was overshadowed by Henderson suffering what the manager described as "quite a serious injury" after tumbling over an advertising hoarding during the post-match festivities, reports the Express.
The Estadio Azteca was the setting for a pulsating last-16 encounter on Sunday evening, with England making a flying start courtesy of Jude Bellingham's rapid-fire double, before Julian Quinones pulled one back and Jarell Quansah was shown a red card. England skipper Harry Kane netted from the spot before conceding a penalty converted by Raul Jimenez, as Tuchel's 10-man side dug in to clinch a dramatic 3-2 triumph and book a quarter-final showdown with Norway.

The final whistle triggered jubilant scenes, with players flooding onto the pitch before gathering in front of their supporters for what has become a customary rendition of Oasis' 'Wonderwall'.
However, unused substitute Henderson suffered a nasty fall while clambering back over the advertising hoardings after the singalong, leaving the pitch on a stretcher before being rushed to a hospital in Mexico City.
It was subsequently confirmed he would not be rejoining the remainder of the squad in Kansas City on Sunday evening, as he continued to undergo medical treatment.
"My emotions are very mixed," England boss Tuchel said. "I'm just proud of the mentality and the attitude.
"Round of 32, round of 16 is the moment in tournaments where you find a way to win. We did it with pure mentality, with heart. We overcame every obstacle that was thrown at us. I am so proud of the mentality and the will of this team. It is a very, very special night for us.

"Mixed feelings also because I am exhausted, of course, and emotional but also sad because Jordan got injured. He injured his wrist. He is at the moment at the hospital, so it is quite a serious injury.
"It just doesn't fit to the evening that Jordan is now not with us. I don't know the procedure what is going on. I just did the press, and the doc told me he's in hospital."
