Chelsea have confirmed that Tyrique George has completed a move to Everton. The Blues have bid farewell to another player in a deal worth £24million as Xabi Alonso's side begins to take shape.
The cross-Premier League move will see the Londoners bank £18million up front with a further £6m in add-ons. Chelsea have included a 15 per cent sell-on clause in the deal with the Merseysiders. The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan in the North West and has now made his move permanent to become the third arrival of the summer at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
George is the second departure from West London after Marc Cucurella's sudden exit to join La Liga and European powerhouses Real Madrid for a fee worth £52million.
