Chelsea will have a 15% sell-on clause after agreeing to offload Tyrique George to Everton, according to BBC journalist Nizaar Kinsella.
The 20-year-old has only recently returned from a season-long loan at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and he did not make many starts under Toffees boss David Moyes.
However, Moyes was clearly a fan of George, despite not giving him regular minutes, having described him as an “excellent boy”.
It is believed that the winger was also keen on making the switch to Merseyside permanent.

How much will Chelsea receive from the deal?
Everton did have a purchase clause worth £25m in their original loan deal, but they were reluctant to pay that much up front for George.
The renegotiated fee is worth £1m less (£24m in total), with £18m up front and another £6m in performance-related add-ons.
It’s likely that the sell-on clause was also added as part of the new agreement, so the Blues could stand to benefit if George is sold in the future.

Who could replace George?
The club are unlikely to sign a direct replacement as manager Xabi Alonso already has the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens as options on the left wing, along with new signing Geovany Quenda (who can play on both flanks).
However, there is a chance that Garnacho could follow George out the door. Roma have reportedly made an enquiry for the Argentinian international over the last week.
There have been suggestions in recent months that Chelsea could decide to cut their losses on the former Manchester United player, but Alonso will have a say in his potential sale.
